• Payment and transaction information: Such as payment IDs, order IDs, transaction amounts, payment status, and transaction timestamps.
• Technical and usage information: Such as IP address, browser and device information, pages or features accessed, access times, diagnostic information, and server logs.
• Support and communication information: Such as information provided when you contact us for support, inquiries, or other requests.

Event hosts may create custom registration fields for their events. Information submitted through these fields may be made available to the relevant event host for event administration and related purposes.

How We Use Your Information

The information we collect is used to provide, maintain, secure, and improve EventKernel and its services. We may use information to:

• Create and manage user accounts.
• Create, manage, and operate events and registrations.
• Process ticket purchases and verify payments.
• Generate tickets, booking confirmations, and transaction records.
• Facilitate communication between event hosts and attendees.
• Provide customer support and respond to inquiries.
• Maintain platform security and prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorized activity.
• Monitor platform performance, reliability, and usage.
• Improve and develop EventKernel and its features.
• Comply with applicable legal, regulatory, tax, and financial requirements.
• Send transactional communications such as booking confirmations, event updates, account notifications, and authentication-related communications.

Where applicable, marketing communications will be handled in accordance with applicable law and may include appropriate options to manage or withdraw marketing preferences.

Payment Processing

EventKernel uses third-party payment providers, including Razorpay, to process ticket payments and related transactions. Depending on the payment method and checkout flow, payment information may be entered directly through the payment provider's secure infrastructure. EventKernel does not store your full card number, CVV/CVC, UPI PIN, or online banking credentials. We may receive limited transaction information necessary to:

• Confirm payment status.
• Verify and fulfil ticket orders.
• Associate payments with bookings.
• Process refunds where applicable.
• Maintain transaction and accounting records.
• Assist with payment disputes or transaction-related support.

Payment processing is subject to the applicable terms and privacy practices of the relevant payment provider. EventKernel primarily acts as a technology and payment facilitation platform between event hosts and attendees. In cases involving event cancellation, postponement, event mismanagement, or failure to deliver the advertised event, the relevant event host is responsible for determining and fulfilling any applicable refund or compensation obligation.

Data Sharing & Third-Party Services

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We may share information with trusted third-party service providers, infrastructure partners, and other recipients where necessary to operate EventKernel and provide our services. These may include:

• Clerk: Authentication and account services.
• Razorpay: Payment processing and transaction services.
• Cloudinary: Media and image storage and delivery.
• Event Hosts: When you register for or purchase a ticket to an event, relevant information including your name, contact information, ticket information, and registration field responses may be made available to the event host for event administration.
• Legal Compliance: Information may be disclosed where reasonably necessary to comply with applicable laws, legal processes, governmental requirements, fraud prevention measures, or to protect the rights and security of EventKernel, HighKernel, our users, or others.

Data Retention & Deletion

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide our services, maintain accounts and transaction records, comply with legal and regulatory obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, enforce our agreements, and protect the security of the platform. Certain transaction, accounting, legal, fraud-prevention, or dispute-related records may need to be retained for longer periods where required or permitted by law.

Subject to applicable law, you may have rights relating to your personal information, including the right to:

The updated Privacy Policy will include a revised Last Updated date. Continued use of EventKernel after an updated policy becomes effective will be subject to the revised policy to the extent permitted by applicable law.
